A Project for all

Boys and girls from 10 and older with little to no experience to adults with extensive knowledge can enjoy it. Please be aware that the younger sewers will require supervision.

Clear, simple patterns

Each part is drawn clearly for you to trace ready to cut. They are presented simply and plainly and you can check that you have pinned the right components correctly by referring to a picture in the Guide.

Recommended materials required for the project

We recommend craft felt, which is a wonderful, soft 40% wool–60% viscose blend that is safe for usage by children, girls or boys over 10, or adults.
We also recommend a hi-loft polyester filler, which is reliable and hygienic.
The needles we recommend are embroidery needles. They pose less chance for pricked young fingers! More experienced sewers might want a crewel needle.

Family fun!

The entire family is welcome to participate in this project. This will appeal to kids 10 and older, mothers, grandparents, and even dads. Children can spend quality time with their parents, grandparents, or other family members while learning how to sew.
